Graduate Application for External Studio Space for Visual Arts

The Gallatin MA program has a limited number of shared studio art spaces for use by Gallatin MA students who are working on artistic theses. The space is at ArtBuilt located at the Brooklyn Army Terminal (BAT) in Sunset Park in Brooklyn. BAT is easily accessible by subway and by NYC Ferry.

Priority will be given to students who are creating an artistic thesis and are at the MT I or MT II stage of the curriculum and who have completed a minimum of 24 credits in the program.  The studio spaces are intended for visual arts, including sculpture, painting, drawing, textiles, graphic design, video, and film.  It is not to be used as a rehearsal space.  The studios are all within one large space subdivided into smaller spaces in an open floor plan.
