Professional Development Funding Request for Adjunct Faculty

The Adjunct Faculty Professional Development Fund is a term of the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) between NYU and the adjunct faculty union, ACT-UAW Local 7902.

As part of the adjunct CBA, all schools are provided with an allotted budget from the University to support professional development for adjunct faculty. Each academic year (September 1 – August 31) eligible adjunct faculty members may request up to $1,250 to support their professional development as it pertains to their teaching at Gallatin.

The application portal for the academic year 2022-2023 will open on Friday, September 9, 2022, at 9:00 AM EST.

Please know that funding is limited to a maximum of #1,250 for Academic Year 2019-2020 and is first-come, first-serve until funds are exhausted. Submitting an application does not guarantee professional development funding.
