Spring Travel Course Application

Gallatin Spring travel courses are open to currently enrolled students of all NYU schools. See Gallatin’s travel course page for more details on eligibility and course offerings.

Space is limited and some programs close before the deadline. Early application is encouraged. Students must confirm participation approximately 2-4 weeks after admission (an extension may be granted in some cases).

  • Program fee waiver request (optional; current Gallatin students and Gallatin incoming transfer students only)

Please submit a 250-word statement addressing academic and personal reasons for wanting to participate in this program. This should include details on how this course will fit into your academic plans. It should also detail any experience that will inform your participation in the course, including relevant coursework, language training, and travel abroad.


No transcript is required to be submitted with this application but note that the Office of Global Programs will review transcripts for all applicants in Albert.

Program Fee Waiver

For current Gallatin students and Spring semester incoming Gallatin transfer students ONLY. A limited number of full program fee waivers are available for this course. Students must have good academic standing, must have a current FAFSA (or for international students, a CSS Profile) on file, and must show unmet financial need. Requests will be evaluated on a first-come, first-served basis.
