Event Proposal

Gallatin hosts a variety of events and has a robust schedule of activities throughout the year. The intention is to have a mix of recurring and new events each semester.

All events must be sponsored by a full time Gallatin faculty member or administrator, a Gallatin class or Gallatin club.
Provide as many dates as possible in order of prefference. Include start and end times and any load-in/tech/prep time you might need for this event.
Please provide potential speakers, format, platform,  space and tech needs, staffing plan, and timeline/run of show.
  • Advances faculty scholarship, research, and teaching
  • Enhances the academic and personal growth of our student body
  • Fosters a sense of community across populations at Gallatin (students, faculty, alumni, staff) and/or the larger community of the University
  • Is connected to a Gallatin course, program, or club
  • Is timely to world events and issues
  • Provides opportunities for broad cross-disciplinary engagement
Who is the audience?
Please provide a source for funding. If you are requesting funding from Gallatin,  please indicate how much support you are asking for.
Please provide number of speakers, speaker fees, furniture rentals, meals, travel, hotel, marketing, etc.
Please let us know which space you are hoping to host this event in (in the Gallatin building? A different NYU space? Off-campus?)
