Summer Travel Course Application

Gallatin Summer travel courses are open to students of NYU and non-NYU schools. See Gallatin’s travel course page for more details on eligibility and course offerings.

Application Deadlines

     
  • Priority Deadline: February 1* (includes Gallatin Dean's Scholarship)
  • Regular Deadline: March 1

*Space is limited and some programs close before the final deadline. Early application is encouraged. Students must confirm participation approximately two weeks after the advertised dates (an extension may be granted in some cases).

Transcript

NYU students DO NOT have to submit a transcript; the Office of Global Programs will review them in Albert. A transcript is required for all other applicants. An unofficial transcript may be submitted. Please submit your transcript with this application (preferred) in .doc, .docx, or .pdf format. The transcript can also be mailed/delivered to the Gallatin Office of Global Programs, 411 Lafayette St., 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10003.

Gallatin Dean's Scholarship

For current Gallatin students and incoming Gallatin transfer students ONLY. To be considered for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be enrolled at Gallatin at the time of application OR must be an incoming Gallatin transfer student whose Gallatin admission can be confirmed
  • Good academic standing (GPA 3.0 or better; no grades of Incomplete)
  • Have a current FAFSA (or for international students, a CSS Profile) on file with the Office of Financial Aid and show unmet need
  • Minimum of half-time matriculation during the semester awarded (changes in the number of credits registered for during the semester may alter your award)

Priority Deadline for Summer Travel Courses: February 1

Students are encouraged to apply by the priority deadline, as funding may be limited or unavailable after that date. Final scholarship decisions will be made in February. Students who disqualify may receive earlier notification.
