Please fill out this form to share a little more about yourself, as well as indicate if you are interested in participating in the optional Gallatin Transfer Orientation Group and available to attend the All-Transfer Student Orientation Session.

All-Transfer Student Orientation Session

All Transfer students, including students who transferred externally from another University to NYU as well as students who transferred from another NYU school to Gallatin, are invited to attend the All-Transfer Student Orientation Session taking place on Friday, September 4 at 2 pm ET in the Jerry H. Labowitz Theatre for the Performing Arts (1 Washington Place, New York, NY 10003). We strongly encourage all transfer students attend as a way to support you in getting acclimated to the NYU Gallatin School of Individualized Study and for you to meet your Transfer Advisers.

Optional Transfer Orientation Group

Gallatin hosts a program for incoming external transfer students where they can participate in Gallatin Orientation in the same way incoming First-Year students.

By participating in this program, external transfer students will be able to get to know a small group of other external transfer students and have dedicated Transfer Orientation Leaders (who are transfer students themselves) guide them throughout the various events taking place during Orientation.

Space is limited to 30 external transfer students only. If you are interested in participating in this type of program, please indicate so below by Monday, August 10. You will be contacted letting you know if you are part of the program.

PLEASE NOTE: in order to participate, you must be an external transfer student (transferring from another university outside of NYU) and be available from roughly 9am-5pm Sunday, August 30 - Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

Parents/Families Orientation Session

Gallatin New Parents and Families Orientation will take place on Sunday, August 30, 2026 from 9:30–11:00 a.m. at the Eisner and Lubin Auditorium in the NYU Kimmel Center for University Life. This session is designed to further inform parents and families about Gallatin and to introduce them to some of the school's deans, faculty, and administrators. New Parents and Families Orientation is intended for parents and families only. Students will be with their Orientation Groups during this session.

Note: In order for parents or families to attend the New Parents and Families Orientation Session, they MUST register in advance using the Gallatin New Parents and Families Orientation RSVP no later than Monday, August 17, 2026 at 9 a.m. ET. If they do not register by this deadline, they will NOT be able to attend this Orientation session or enter the NYU Kimmel Center.
